Can England transpose the fighting spirit seen at cardiff into actually quality.

I have to say that the only fighting spirit from England wasn't in the bowling or in most cases the batting. It was in the tail end who were padding it and hoping for the best, while Strauss had his head down praying for rain or locusts.
If I was an England cricket fan I'd be wanting to use the Aussie spirit of playing to win that doesn't include bringing out the 12th man and the physio to slow down the overs.
Flintoff is retiring from tests after the Ashes and Harmison isn't that good. England need to look elsewhere. Even the Aussie bowlers looked pretty good and they were all written off as too green!

Great video! Great to watch Guy the Gorilla charging in like that before the belly got too big. It's easy to forget what a destructive bowler Botham was when he first burst on to the test match scene.
