One of the most dangerous and explotaive frauds foisted on ill people is alternative medicine.
I recently had the displeasure of experiencing this charade first hand when a elderly relative fell into the clutches of an iridologist.
Without going into the details this charlatan advised this diabetic old woman with heart and lung problems to abandon her Insulin and stop her cholesterol lowering drug.
She was duly charged for such sage advice!
Needless to say, a hyperglaecaemic event ensued and emergency hospitilisation was required.
Where is the metro article villifiying these shisters?
Why aren't the sisterhood baying for blood.
Answer.......this is the sisterhood armed with a bottle of arnica and a dreamcatcher.
Of course I am adopting a heirachal male paternilistic approach, but hey......it fucking works!
