What sounds more sensible, using real science, data and facts?
A)
Sea Levels are predicted to rise by
ONE METRE meaning the world MUST start forcing eco-taxes upon everything. The worlds biggest businesses must be taxed to ensure their growth is minimal and people like
Bomber tell us that money wasting exercises by the previous Labour Government were going to save us and the planet?
This is the same ideology that tells us that big business is bad and is followed by socialists....almost like another ideology that almost died out after the fall of the iron curtain. The science also points towards conclusions that have never been proven and have never happened yet. They also call the people who disagree with this DENIERS, you know - like holocaust deniers.
or B)
Václav Klaus, legendary Czech president who stated Monday:
European governments (are) being "alarmist" on the subject of climate change and in thrall to radical environmentalists.
"They probably do not want to reveal their true plans and ambitions to stop economic development and return mankind several centuries back," he said.He was speaking at a convention; Global Warming: Was It Ever Really a Crisis.
70 participants listed by the Heartland Institute is Jack Schmitt, a former astronaut, who now teaches engineering physics. William Gray, who is regarded as a leading hurricane forecaster, is also listed, along with Fred Singer, the atmospheric physicist who argues that a melting Arctic would have some positive effects, including the formation of the long-sought north-west passage. Václav states that his position is lonely, which doesn't surprise me considering the mass media and politicans soaking up the fiction. Politicans especially enjoy the idea that they can obtain more tax dollars simply by adding an eco tax to almost anything. What gets me is the way that the Green movement treat those who don't agree with them. This is like the Salem witchhunts all over again! People who question the religious fervour of the global warming movement are deniers and are regarded as stupid - when there are so many people out there who are most certainly not stupid. David Bellamy is a leading environmentalist and TV presenter, but is now consigned to the sidelines because he has spoken up against the theories on gloabl warming.
The Guardian recently embarked on a smear campaign against some of the more prominent experts who have a different opinion to them:
David Bellamy -
incapable of rational thoughtMelanie Phillips (columist)
appears to believe that half the scientists on earth are engaged in a series of giant conspiraciesSarah Palin -
An Alaskan denying climate change is like a Saudi Arabian denying sandVáclav Klaus -
a promoter of "gangster capitalismSammy Wilson - (Northern Ireland environment minister)
He fills the same role as the former South African health minister, Manto Tshabalala-Msimang, who claimed that Aids could be treated with beetroot and lemon juice. How mature.
So do you believe the hysteria and the name calling or do you believe that there are all sorts of different reasons for the current climate conditions?
I am going to stick to commonsense and I believe that by name calling and screaming at those who wish to express different opinions, will not solve anything. Plus it will give us all a laugh when this hoax is over!
