Congratulations Sir Mad Butcher

What a long time coming! I have never met Sir Peter Leitch, nor do I know anybody who knows the guy personally. But I have watched this damn fine Kiwi do a lot of good work through charity and his unstoppable energy to NZ sport and his businesses.

Labour wanted to end knighthoods, depriving so many Kiwis the right to be honoured for their deeds. It was one of Nationals best policies to date bringing them back - surprisingly so, as we were not too sure National would adopt this Labour policy too!

People like Peter deserve this honour and I only wish we had more people in NZ like him. Arise Sir Peter!!
