McCarten for Mana

Why not?

Matt McCarten has absolutely nothing to lose. Kris Fa'afoi isn't a candidate that was supported by the local Labour Party and Hekia Parata is already in Parliament languishing in the backbenches - so it would be refreshing to have a stroppy far left candidate in Parliament throwing a few loose punches into Labour and National.

What's better? Watching the rival unions competing against each other. The far left Service and Food Workers union (SFW) and Engineering, Printing and Manufacturing Union (EPMU) against McCartens Unite. The EPMU/Labour funded blog the Standard are not impressed. They have dismissed his chances saying he will only hurt the Greens rather than the Labour candidate that the EPMU/Labour HQ/Standard candidate. Also, Policy Parrot - whos true identity I have forgotten, but he is very close to Labour HQ, has shown his disappointment over McCarten not standing for Labour originally.

Bring on the warfare on the hustings!

It was unions who saved 400 jobs at LOR.

400 mortgage payers or 400 cheap labour prostitute mercanaries?

Who are LOR mate?

This is a little different, but I agree, mortgage payers would/should come first. This was more of an international union dictating to Kiwis their working patterns/pay.
