So... We have bloggers who think that consensual sex between men is a terrible abomination, but think that parents who force their infant children to be vegan are simply "eccentric" and don't deserve prosecution and punishment when the child inevitably dies.

Yep. They have come up with some really great stuff lately - albeit provoked by me. Now we all know that they are utterly loony. Brilliant!
You are having imaginary conversations.
The parents didn't "force" their baby to be vegan, it was still being breastfeed. The issue was a *theory* put forward by a nutritionist (you know, the people you despised on the previous post) that as a vegan, the baby didn't get enough nutrients through breastfeeding.
And when parents do move their babies to solids, you don't actually feed them a 500gm sirloin or a feed from KFC. It's often mashed foods.
So what you are upset about is that parents who accidentally kill their kids aren't automatically sent to jail, because presumably, the kid dying isn't punishment enough. Or do you just want to ban veganism, because peole shouldn't be free to choose what food they eat if its bad for them?
Or would that position be inconsistent with your previous post where parents are allowed to let their kids eat KFC if they want to?
Zen - I didn't write this post. But considering you think of this family as eccentric then that does say a lot about you.
Funny you never addressed Blairs excellent case, that you still like to know whats going on in peoples bedrooms. Creepy.
I didn't say they were eccentric, that was Andrei choosing his words carefully, presumably because it's pointless calling Vegans bat-shit crazy when they've managed to accidentally kill their child.
I didn't know Blair made an excellent case. For it to be excellent though, he'd have to start out with a premise that is true. So far, he's invented a position and then argued against it, but it isn't true.
Your blog call gays pederasts and is highly critical of homosexual behaviour and the worst thing that you could say about parents killing their child was "eccentric".
It's balance - you should at least take some personal responsibility and admit your blog is batshit crazy on moral issues, especially with the state of disrepair in the catholic church.
Okay, firstly, nobody has to breastfeed. It's not compulsory.
Secondly, if all you are doing is breastfeeding, and you are a vegan, then you are not going to give the baby what it needs. It is irresponsible and it is neglectful. Sure, as an adult, you can do whatever crazy things you like. But as a mother, you can't just eat nuts and berries, you have to give your child what it needs. Anything less is immoral.
I am sure these people feel terrible about their child dying, but unless they are punished, vegans will get the message that it is okay to treat their children in this way. A message needs to be sent that it is not acceptable to do this to your child and deprive them of what they need to live for your stupid philosophies.
And yes, it is ridiculous that you criticise adults for making choices about their sexuality, but when actual harm is done to a child you are prepared to defend the choice of the adults looking after that child. It is a sickening lack of awareness of the hypocrisy of your arguments.
