If people protest at least they're doing something, feel free to join the protest I will be taking part in on November 19th in Boston, it is against the influx of EU migrants, now that really is worth protesting about. See you there?

Who is running the protest?

Does that mean I am bad for having European staff working in my city office?

Local people. I don't blame them, they have seen a previously decent town turn into an enclave of UNWANTED immigrant cultures and slum ghettoes, enough is enough, something has to be done about this very serious problem.
Bad? That's a personal opinion, does it mean I am bad because I only employ UK staff? There are far more applicants for every job than vacancies, it would be immoral of me to employ any migrant when there are British people with the skills, experience and qualifications required, the same goes for any employer who cares about this country, migrants are a luxury we can't afford, especially in the massive numbers they are still arriving in.

The strain on public services, jobs, housing, benefits, schools etc is immense.

Boston used to be a nice, rural town and probably quite a nice place to live, last time I was there I was shocked, disgusted and angry to see what it has turned into. It is nothing short of criminal and I feel for the decent local residents who have had this dumped on them, when word got around, we managed to find enough people to fill 3 coaches in one day who want to take part.

We have to show our support for the people of Boston, they don't deserve to be treated like this.

I would find it ironic if anyone who oposses this protest lost their job to a migrant.

As I said before, I agree - I would hate this to happen in my country. When I used to live in West London, every second person was a foreigner and immigrant to this country. Not like me, mind you, they were unemployed and had terrible English.

I can't imagine this happening to these nice postcard pretty towns in the UK, sounds bad. Why is it that you think I am against what you say when I think we agree? I made a bad comment to wind you up but that was years ago which I apologised for.

I may well make a trip to Boston to see this protest for myself, but as a foreigner surely I will be not welcome?

I hate to say it but at least New Zealanders have a similar background and culture, I am not even a local by birth but there are countless Scandinavians living in this area, they integrate well, nobody has a problem with them simply because they assimilate perfectly, herein lies the problem, we've allowed in no end of asylum seekers and dropped a monumentual clanger by opening the floodgates to the Poles, they are not interested in integrating or showing any respect for their host nation, the Vietnamese and Chinese communities are nowhere near as much of a problem, they manage to retain their own culture while still integrating well, maybe the Poles just aren't very good mixers, from what I've seen of them I haven't been very impressed, couldn't we have just kept the Scandinavians and the sizeable number of Dutch and Belgians who live locally? Life was so much better when we were made welcome at the Danish mission by the people who ran it, they managed to keep their own culture and customs without being any threat, maybe the Poles just lack manners. I'm bloody glad I don't have to go to the part of town they seem to have taken over, it has become even more run down than it was previously. Still at least it's empty lech cans that litter the streets now.
