DS - note the humour tag. Presume all you like but you already admittted you didn't watch all of it. The humour part was Jeremy giving up (something he never does)
Get a sense of humour.
If he is willing to learn a trade in my line of work, attend college on an apprenticeship and knuckle down, I'll employ him.
I would give him a spare key to my house, drive him into work and get him on 2 grand a week by using his brain.
He is British and I would do that for him rather than get my arse cheeks out for migrants.
I would employ any Briton over a migrant any day.
I didn't watch any of it, he's a Briton, to me, he's worth a pay day, a deposit on a house and a secure job.
That's how I work, those are my principles.
I refuse to compromise, he could get a start on any refiniry on at least a grand a week by me.

In my last job I also did the same, as my remit was to train and help British residents into work. In total I got over 90-100 British people into work. In my current city job, in IT, I have already hired 3 British people. In fact I have made it company policy to ensure we have at the very least a 75% interview rate of locals over foreigners.

But in all honesty, this gentleman is a joke. He needs to learn responsibility first rather than a hand out. I am sure you would want a hard worker working for you rather than somebody that would put you and your colleagues in danger.

Erm, if there is an unempoyed Briton or a British applicant, the foreigners tend to have their applications turned into Concorde.
I most certainly didn't - you made it very clear you were working well before I got involved.
The others said it, but they are Polish and didn't understand you most likely.
You must admit that you and your facebook Polish mates have not been very nice to the average British worker.

We've all seen the feeling about the EU in this country, you can hide behind your internet buddies all you want before walking out on us.

Not my mates DS. I don't speak to any of them, nor have them as friends on FB. In fact I have not heard from any of them in over 18 months. All I told you to do was calm down and not disrespect the females.
But I have made it so clear DS, I am not racist nor do I support the idea of the UK being in the EU. I am staggered you would associate me with the people who want to walk in and ruin this country.
I love Europe, but as a holiday destination. But while I have been living in this country, I have worked hard to give back. Far more than most immigrants and yet all the thanks I get from you is nonstop abuse and false accusations.

Give me some credit. I pay taxes just like you do and am not a drain on this country. Reserve your anger to those who are ruining this country, not me.
Simples, fuck the Pollacks off and give him a job, if he can afford 140 cans of beer a week on 66.50, that's one cheap off licence.
What needs to be done? Stop foreign aid, stop giving the EU money, withdraw from that damned organisation, get out of NATO, stop outsourcing jobs, stop companies hiring migrants when there are so many unemployed that people are queing up for a job as a knife throwers assistant.
Invest heavily in education, promote industry....I'm wasting my breath here, one of the gaffers I works with worked on constructing the Humber Bridge, he was out in all weathers in a potentially very dangerous job, he remarked to me that the job got done without elf n safety butting in, fewer EU red tape to cut through, no deaths or serious injuries and the magic words NO MIGRANTS, he's a good lad and his comment made me think if we really need all these migrants when our own people are willing to work in jobs that admittedly aren't for wimps but pay good money, he was on 250 quid a week 30years ago, many employers won't even pay that now.
